Sales Representative

Hawkesbury Day 40 hours

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Sales Director, and will maintain existing client base, expand current client base in the Ottawa and Eastern Ontario regions through cold calling and leads from inside, and develop a sales plan in line with the company strategy.

Tasks and responsibilities :
  • Implement short- and long-term strategies to exceed sales targets and ensure the distribution of our products.
  • Develop internal and external professional relationships while enhancing the quality of our products and services.
  • Manage and develop relationships with key customers in our industry in the region, focusing on sales increase and market development.
  • Manage and develop relationships with distributors in the assigned region to meet or exceed annual sales targets.
  • Represent our products effectively at trade shows and industry events.
Skills :
  • Minimum five (5) years experience or a combination of relevant professional training and experience
  • Post-secondary education from a college/university or equivalent work experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Self-started; works effectively with minimal day to day supervision
  • Availability to work on the road most of his/her time
  • Demonstrated strong sales ability
  • Product knowledge an asset
  • Bilingual (English/French) an asset
